Saw a girlfriend tweet on missing her newborn. Ask further on where is the newborn and was told that MIL had brought her home as her husband is having flu while she was stressed taking care of the newborn by herself.
If I was in that situation, I would never allow that. To be away from my baby whom is merely a month old is definitely a no. I know that she have good intentions but me being me will just go hysterical.
It reminded me of the early days when elhan mateen was still a newborn. I was all alone at home, taking care of myself and him till late evening when everyone would be home then and able to help out. It was really hard being a new mom but with determination, I did it well. There were days when I thought I'm gonna breakdown due to baby having colic and breastfeeding every hour. I didn't get enough sleep every night and try to get some sleep while baby is sleeping.
As days goes by, I got the hang of being a SAHM. And those who thought that we SAHMs has a lot of free time. No we don't especially with a baby around. And at this time, I wonder if I would be able to cope if there would be a 2nd baby in the house.
Support from the husband is important and is greatly appreciated.
