Came 2011.. Year of joyous occassions; weddings, engagement and especially the birth of my baby belon..

Second to wed was irin in March.. I managed to be at her place to witness her solemnisation to fiance, Hamsa despite helping out baby with decor setup in the morning.. Wedding reception was held the following day and I was there throughout the event.. The couple was dressed in the malay traditional outfits of the royal yellow with irin wearing the traditional sanggul lintang headgear and in black traditional kebaya gown.. Love the final black outfit that she wore.. It was something different; a black kebaya gown made from songket.. Months after the wedding, it was good news for the newly weds.. A baby boy to be in their arms by December whom couldn't wait till then and decided to make his grand entrance on 30 November 2011. He was named Haqqi Bin Hamsa.. Looked exactly like irin to me.. Congratulations to them once again on their bundle of joy!

Third to wed was widy in March too.. We were involved in the preparations as we assisted in the solemnisation gift trays and were her bridesmaids for the day.. Red and white was the theme of the wedding.. It was a beautiful wedding held at Laguna Country Club.. Didn't managed to stay till the end for her outdoor photoshoot as i have to do some errands for my mother.. I am glad i was there to witness the whole solemnisation and reception.. Once again, congratulations babe!

Then in end April, a holiday sponsored by mother to USA California; San Francisco, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.. The whole family went except for lv due to school commitments.. Ira managed to be with us till the last day of USA trip but missed the Dubai free nights due to work commitments.. Nevertheless, it was such an enjoyable trip with all the shopping and sightseeing.. I was already about 4months pregnant then so i was not allowed to take the rides in Universal Studios. Sooo not fun coz baby and ira went to most rides and whenever they are out from the rides, they would tell me how awesome it is.. Disneyland would be more fun if we have kids.. Walkimg down Rodeo Drive made me feel like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.. Kodak Theatre and Hollywood Walk of Fame was fun too.. Las Vegas strip was superb with the night lights.. Get to visit Grand Canyon and took the helicopter ride too.. Also, we managed to take pics at the welcome to las vegas sign! San Francisco union square, fisherman wharf and the golden gate bridge was nice and pretty too.. The best part of it all was the shopping there.. Coach, kate spade, michael kors, timbaland, forever 21, oakley, samsonite, aldo were some of the shops we spent our cash.. Simply said, the trip was super fabolous.. Went wit 1 big bag each and came back with 2 big and 1 cabin bags each!

June.. Lv engagement to Sadiq.. Can't believe that my sister is all grown up and soon she will be a wife.. Simple preparations were made for the engagement.. Mother cooked her specialty and mother in-law helped to cooked other 2 dishes.. Baby was in charge of the bedroom decor and the decor for the buffet and guest tables and chairs.. I was the MUA for her engagement while Apek was the photographer.. All went well although it was abit too rushing on sadiq side.. Insyallah, they will be solemnise this September..

As mentioned earlier in this post, baby resigned from PSA and join his friend, Nas full-time instead.. We are thankful to Nas for this job as baby needs flexibility in his job to fulfil his other job commitment as a wedding service provider doing bridal decor and dias.. We were given the opportunity to takeover the business.. Real soon, we can called it ours and a new branding will be announced.. Alhamdulillah amin..

25 October 2011 at 1054hrs.. I gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Elhan Mateen which weighs 3735grams and measures 51cm..

The pregnancy was known to me sometime in end February. I had gone to the doctor for medical leave actually. I was telling the doctor about the diarrhea and vomitting i was having when he asked if ive had my monthly period.. No was my answer to him.. He then asked when was my first day of my last period.. Answered him accordingly and was asked if i would like to take a pregnancy test since i was trying. I agreed for the fun of it.. Did the usuals of a pregnancy test and waited.. Nurse called my name, went in the doctor's office and with a smile, he said " Congratulations dear.. You are pregnant!" I was shocked and couldn't believe what i heard but at the same time i thank god for the good news. Baby was waiting for me outside the clinic but was not informed of it straightaway due to the quarrel we had earlier.. I kept quiet about it till the next day, i decided to get baby to buy me a pregnancy test kit. Tested and it was positive! Showed it to baby and he was like " Is this for real? Are we having a baby?" That moment was precious..

My first trimester wasn't an easy one.. I had morning sickness most of the days and managed to hide it from my family.. I was late for work most days and took medical leave whenever the morning sickness and vomitting was very bad. Folic acid was the only medicine i took during first trimester.. I have not gone to the gynae yet as i fear of another miscarriage and decided to wait only till i'm 4months pregnant..

Second trimester started before my USA trip.. I have not chosen my gynae yet so i went to a gynae in Lucky Plaza to have an ultrasound scan on my baby belon.. I was glad to hear him say that my baby belon is growing fine.. I was given prenatal vitamins and since then i took extra care of myself; drinking milk at least twice a day, eating for 2 etc.. We then decided to break the good news to our family by giving a dinner treat a week before the USA trip.. Everyone was excited and happy to hear the good news and couldn't wait for the arrival of baby belon.. During the trip, i was simply annoyed and got irritated by the slightest things done by my parents.. I was always reminded by baby and ira to be calm and relax.. When i came back from the trip, i have decided to go to my chosen gynae; Dr Heng (recommended by eqa) and have my monthly checks there.. He was a very soft spoken gynae whom answered my questions and advices me accordingly whenever neccessary. It was my first checkup with him in my 5th month when i got to know that i was carrying a boy inside of me.. We were pleased and thank god for the gift.. I was then scheduled for an ultrasound to check on the baby's wellbeing.. A week after the ultrasound check, we were glad to hear all is fine with the baby..

Third trimester was when all the drama started.. It was fasting month when i had my last monthly checkup during my 8th month.. Gynae was doing an ultrasound as usual; checking on the baby's head circumference, weight etc. He told.me that based on the weight which was 1.9+ kg, baby weight is on the average side. He was asking if i was fasting. When told him yes, he asked me not to force myself if i can't since it was not required.. Due to the way he said things that day, i was abit worried that the baby might be lighter than its supposed to be.. So i started to ask for advice from others.. Eqa then informed me that the sister advices me to drink 100plus.. The kiasu me heard that and ordered baby to purchase 3bottles of it.. I drank it all and was satisfied with the results on the weight of the baby at my next checkup.. It was weekly visits by then.. There was once when i had pains on my right side of tummy which was actually urine infection.. So glad to hear that from gynae.. Was afraid that it could be something serious as i was afraid it may be contractions.. I was fine after taking meds.. Then in late october, i started to have contractions and it was a very bad one on this particular day.. When to the gynae, cervix has open 3cm and was told to go to hospital.. Instead i waited till the next day as i was able to hold on.. But it was a wasted trip as my contractions were not so bad and cervix wall are not ready yet.. I was sent home and since then i stayed home waiting for the time..
