25 October 2012 @ 3am.. I started having really bad and very near contractions.. I keep asking baby for the time and keep track of the contractions timings.. At 4+am, it was so bad that i started to feel super intense contractions.. Kept going to the toilet and start to bend myself whenever the contractions came.. That's when i told baby that its time to go to the hospital.. When we reach the hospital, we were sent to the labour ward.. The midwife then informed me that i was already 6cm dilated and that if i want to have the epidural, i need to inform fast or there won't be enough time to do it.. As i couldn't stand the pain, i decided to take it and the neccessary was done.. At 10.30am, i was told that baby is coming out and i will give birth by 11am latest.. After 3 big push, my baby boy was out of me at 10.54am.. I heard his cries and was just glad that all is fine..
Baby took him in his arms and recite the prayers into his ears.. I watched with tears rolling down.. In my heart, i thank god for giving me the strength and to be alive to see my babies.. I was super exhausted as i was doing the decor laundry when i was having the contractions so I took a quick nap before the others arrive.. One by one, family members and friends came to see the newborn and congratulate us..
3months has passed since.. Being at home seeing him grow as time goes by is great minus all the difficulties.. Elhan Mateen is my everything other than the father of my child.. For the sake of these two boys, i would go through anything for them as much as i can..
Today, he is my companion at home.. With him around, the house is no longer quiet as its filled with his laughter and cries..
