The day my grandmother left the world!

She was totally fine when she moved to my place in May or June 2008. She was diagnosed with rectum cancer in October or November last year. Her health was bad by end 2008 and worsen in January. She was in the hospital for about 4 to 5 times in between December to January. She was last admitted on 12 January at Singapore General Hospital.

When I reached the hospital on 13 February 2009, she has already passed. I wish I was there a few minutes earlier so that I could catch her for the very last time.

Even till now, I still feel her presence at home. It's hard to hold back my tears when someone talks about her or when I saw her stuffs at home or even looking at her photos.

A note from me to her..

Mak...

Ellis sayangkan Mak. Mak lah yang jaga Ellis dari kecik sampai lah besar. Tak pernah sekalipun Mak memarahi Ellis. Mak sentiasa beri Ellis sokongan dalam apa jua yang Ellis lakukan. Maafkanlah Ellis kerana Mak tak dapat melihat Ellis diatas pelamin sebelum Mak pergi.

Ellis minta ampun dan maaf sekiranya Ellis pernah terkasar bahasa atau melukakan hati Mak. Halalkan lah makan dan minum Ellis.

Mak akan sentiasa diingati dan dirindui...

There's more that I would like to say to her but I have to stop now coz tears are rolling down my cheeks non-stop and I can't hold it anymore!!!

Semoga Allah S.W.T menempatkan rohnya bersama orang-orang yang beriman... Amin.
